Greetings, Menopause Mavens!
As you all know, September is “Menopause Awareness Month.”
And as I announced on Facebook last week, I am teaming up again with one of my favorite sponsors, Estroven, to promote menopause awareness and to tell you about one of their new products, Estroven Weight Management and a giveaway!
I know a lot of you ladies are uncomfortable with hormone therapy and prefer alternatives, which is why I think you might like Estroven.
All of Estroven’s formulas, including their weight management blend, contain black cohosh, a native North American perennial plant, and soy isoflavones, plant based phytoestrogens extracted from soy bean and kudzu.
I have written extensively here at The Perimenopause Blog about the benefits of soy for perimenopause symptoms, and specifically for hot flashes and night sweats. While not every woman benefits from soy, there have been several significant studies which have shown that for the women who do, the severity of their hot flashes were reduced by more than 50%.
I can personally vouch for this number, because soy reduced my hot flashes and night sweats 100%!
In addition to the black cohosh and soy isoflavones, each Estroven product contains a proprietary blend of plant extracts (including magnolia bark), to provide relief from menopause symptoms such as: mood swings, occasional sleeplessness, fatigue, memory lapses, and weight management issues.
The Estroven Weight Management formula, like the other Estroven formulas, helps to reduce hot flashes and night sweats, in addition to helping you safely manage your weight. When taken daily (1 capsule in the morning, and 1 capsule in the evening), and combined with an exercise program, most women will notice the benefits in 8 to 10 weeks.
In support of Estroven’s new product launch, they have also teamed up with fitness/personal trainer, Deb Horn, to create an 8-week workout plan. The exercises in the workout plan combine low impact, cardio workout exercises, with high intensity strength training.
I have not personally used Estroven’s Weight Management formula. But, I have used their other formulas (specifically their sleep formula) and found it to be quite effective. If any of you ladies would like to try Estroven’s Weight Management formula, I would like to offer a free sample this week in a giveaway.
Please respond to this post in either the comment section here at The Perimenopause Blog, or “Like” this post at The Perimenopause Blog Facebook page. Once I see your comment or Facebook “like”, I will put your name into a drawing to be conducted at the end of the week.
In addition to the sample package of the weight management formula, I will also include a “Changing Ways Workout Plan” which you can use to chart your exercise and workout routines. Be sure and check out the Estroven Changing Ways website to get more information and guidelines for the plan.
Don’t hesitate! Comment here or at Facebook to get entered into the drawing!
