It feels like I’ve been away from my blog forever. But, even though my posting has been reduced to a dribble, I have not, I assure you, abandoned ship.
My last post was a follow up on my personal experiment with the bio-identical progesterone that I purchased a couple of months ago by Oasis Serene.
I told you that my first month in using it resulted in my not getting a period for the first time in months. Prior to starting the cream, I was getting heavy, gushing, flooding periods that were so draining and so intense, there were times when I could not leave my house.
Outside of those periods, I was not getting any perimenopause symptoms to speak of, so my patience with these continued periods when I felt I should be menopausal by now was wearing VERY thin.
I told you that the amount of progesterone in a 2-0z jar of Oasis Serene Pluswas significantly higher than what you find in most brands. Dr. John Lee’s recommendation for the amount of progesterone per oz is 450 to 500 mg. In the Oasis Serene Plus, there is 1500 mg in a 2-oz jar.
I said last month that I was very impressed with the effect the Oasis Serene had on how I was feeling. The fact that I did not get a period the month after I began using it, signaled to me that I was definitely estrogen dominant and that adding progesterone back into my body stopped the flooding periods. Yee Haw.
I just finished my second month of using Oasis Serene and I did not get a period this time either. So, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that either it was a huge coincidence that I stopped getting the flooding periods once I began to use Oasis Serene, or it worked beautifully. I am leaning toward the latter. It worked.
I have become an affiliate with Oasis Sereneand so any of their products that you buy from them via any ads or links on this site will pay a small commission to me.
I do make that clear in my disclaimer policy, but I like to mention it as often as I can to keep things honest, upfront and on board with anyone who buys products here.
I am not hawking something I do not use myself and my opinion of this product is based on my personal experience only.
Nothing I blog about here or discuss is meant to be taken as medical advice. As always, consult your physician before you decide to use any product.
That said, I am extremely happy with Oasis Serene and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a bio-identical progesterone. It is, as I have stated before and complained loudly to Oasis Serene as well, VERY expensive.
A 2-0z jar will run you about $43 dollars plus shipping and it only lasts two weeks if you use it according to instructions if you are in perimenopause. Which means, you will use an entire jar and a portion of another one during one monthly cycle.
Ladies, that is expensive, I grant you that. But, I love this product so much that I’m willing to pay that price. You must weigh that cost/benefit ratio for yourself.
For now, I’m going on record that I think Oasis Serene is an excellent product and that I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a bio-identical progesterone to use.
I will light a fire under my nearly menopausal rear-end and get back to blogging regularly.
