Kale & Sauerkraut

by Magnolia

Post image for Kale & Sauerkraut

Sauerkraut is one of those foods that people either love or love to hate.

Personally, I rather like it because I enjoy cabbage in general and I love the tart and tang of the vinegar in sauerkraut.

As far as kale goes, well, it’s about as good as it gets if you ask me.  So, maybe this simple recipe for do it for some of you ladies, but for others, give it whirl and see what you think.

Kale & Sauerkraut

  • 1 Bunch of Kale
  • 1 Can sauerkraut, drained (I would actually use the jar brand)

Steam kale leaves until tender, but still green. Stir in one can of sauerkraut before serving.

I love kale. I wash the leaves, spend them out on a cooking sheet, spray them with olive oil, salt and pepper. Then I cook them for about 15-20 minutes at 225 degrees.

They come out like potato chips! And kale is great for removing estrogens from the body.
