Though this calls for the broccoli and cauliflower florets to be slightly boiled until tender, you can also make this one with the veggies raw.
You can add a can (drained) of mexican corn and red onions for a little more pizazz as well.
- 1 Tble Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
- 2 Tsp Raw Honey
- 3 Tble Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 Cup Broccoli Florets
- 1 Cup Cauliflower Florets
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
- Red Pepper Flakes to Taste (optional)
Mix soy sauce, honey and lime juice. Set aside. Boil broccoli and cauliflower for about 5 minutes, until they are tender, yet firm. Drain and toss immediate with soy sauce – lime mixture.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
Makes 4 Servings

I love your idea of sharing recipes that are not only nutritious but look delicious as well! This salad looks amazing: colorful, crunchy, and healthy. What more could a perimenopausal or a menopausal gal ask for? THANKS!
Thanks Eileen!
I think every little bit helps as we’re trying to get through these years. If I can pass on good advice, good suggestions or even good food, I’ve got the bases covered.
