I checked out your blog. I keep running across more and more blogs out there on menopause and perimenopause. It's nice to know so many of us are taking to the blogosphere to "talk it out" so to speak. Come back often. :) Hello Anita,

I'm a former hippie, flower child vegan myself, so I've done the tofu for a few years. You can buy these really cool spice packets now for tofu. Might actually make it palatable now. I actually prefer the soy milk and nuts though. It's easier and faster for me. Nice to see you. Hope you are well. I'm hanging. Hey Eileen,

Although I did experience hot flashes, they weren't constant nor were they all that bad. (However, there were some notable exceptions, believe me!) Being a former flower power gal and a vegetarian, I do head to the tofu department. Actually, tofu is virtually tasteless and there are a ton of things you can do with it. My personal favorite is to cube it and throw it into Miso soup--quite tasty and nutritious, and you don't even need to be wearing your Birkenstocks to enjoy it! I think you’re right on about soy.
