Yeah, it certainly worked for me. I’m a former hippie, flower child vegan myself, so I’ve done the tofu for a few years. You can buy these really cool spice packets now for tofu. Might actually make it palatable now.
I actually prefer the soy milk and nuts though. It’s easier and faster for me.
